Mission Successful

For the first time ever she’s utterly unfussed by the bangs – and with no additional pills, sedatives or tranquilisers.
Although Hound is also definitely getting older – 90 minutes on the beach has been enough to knacker her out, but I’m just so pleased that we’re finally at the stage where the fireworks don’t seem to bother her. It’s taken long enough to get here, so let’s hope it lasts a while now.
Can sympathise with that one. Vic (my other half) has a boxer/collie cross that requires sectioning due to utter mentalness. She is utterley petrified of fireworks though and will run at the slightest bang no matter how far away. I on the other hand have a Springer Spaniel pup (11 months) that isn’t in the least bit bothered – I think she might be too stupid to be bothered………. prime example just for your amusement – she was watching me whilst running forward and promptly fell off the side of the canal towpath into the canal the other week, deffo a few braincells missing there but I’ve not laughed that much for ages.
