House Progress

There’s been a fair amount of progress this week on the house as well, thank God. It’s been a mentally busy week all round, so it’s good that we’ve also got stuff done domestically. Most of it’s been done by Herself, while she’s between jobs, and it’s looking good.

As it is, she has / we have :

• Painted the living room (2 coats)
• Cut all the remaining tiles for the living room floor (about 40, all told)
• Laid the tiles
• Finally got a start date from EDF for the moving of the power supply coming to the house (not much of a move, but still cost £400)
• Stripped off the (truly nasty) border in the office, and painted the walls
• Sorted out a plumber to come and move radiators etc.
• Got new blinds installed in all the rooms at the front of the house

I’m sure there’s some other things as well, but right now I just can’t remember them. But then, I’m crap – as we all well know.
