One of the more fun things about my current workplace’s blatant inefficiency has involved the (further) extension of my contract.

Because the people involved are utterly disorganised, inefficient, and have more feet than clues about the business, I’ve even ended up writing my own contract extension documents. Then all I did was ask them to sign it, and I’ve sent it on to the umbrella company.

You know, if I were less honest, I could’ve added – oooh, I dunno, a zero to my day rate, or something – I doubt they’d have even noticed.

But I’ve been good. For once.
