Week One

So, that’s the first week of 2007 over and done with.

In that time, we’ve started the entire mortgage application process, and yesterday we went to see the first house we’ve been interested in. Yep, proper viewing and everything. Most bizarre.

One piece of good news, according to the IFA there’s several mortgage lenders who don’t see the fact I’m a contractor as being a major problem – and in at least one case, they don’t see it as any kind of issue at all – which is fantastic news from the perspective of our application etc.

And this afternoon I’m going to be off to suss out a local Archery club – time to dust off that compound bow I’ve got and get back into it all properly.

So yes, all things considered, it’s not been a bad week at all.
