Today : “Blunkett resigns from Cabinet“.
Nothing like a good healthy political U-Turn. Still, I don’t suppose you can say he saw it coming…

Blunkett may well be innocent. Perhaps he’s got a criminal mastermind for a guidedog.

Poor David Blunkett, first he has a fling with Kimberley Quinn where he forgot to put his wellies on, resulting in an politically disasterous birth. The he buys shares in a firm for himself and his sons and is forced to resign for a second time…still he can rely on his £40k+ MP’s salary to survive on………….shouldn’t he have resigned as an MP as well as from the cabinet, surely a mistake or two and the resulting breach of trust is enough for him to be dismissed entirely! Never mind we only vote for people like him which begs the question……….WHY?
