At home the broadband internet connection through NT-fuckin’-‘L is still down, so we’ll probably end up having to deal with that bunch of incompetent tossers tonight.
Then I get to work, and most of our servers (hosted, ‘conveniently’ in New York) are offline and tits-up. Mail, web-server, really the entire lot is just carked. I can’t even get in to them in order to try and do anything. And the person who does all that crap is in California, and thus not even awake yet. I’m currently deciding whether I should wake the twat up. My bosses are saying I shouldn’t. Time will tell.
And then I try to get through to Inland Revenue (a story in itself, but one I can’t yet be arsed to rant about it) after trying for a month and only getting an engaged tone, only to be told “Sorry, our systems are down at the moment. Can you call back another time?”.
File under “Days, One of those“.
I won’t point out WHO the obvious link is… own up, WHAT DID YOU DO!
If I knew that, I’d be selling it as an ace way to stop work for the day…
LOL. Fair point.
If you ever do, I’ll buy you an Aston Martin (model of.. come on I wouldn’t be working I’d be poor!!)
