Jubilation

So, that’s the Diamond Jubilee over with. I’m not an ardent Royalist (I know, you’re shocked by that revelation) although I’d far rather have a Royal family than a President. (And I’m yet to see how a President would be a better option for the UK – nor a cheaper one)

I did see bits – primarily the coverage of the boat pageant while seeing the parents – and was impressed by the Queen and Duke of York’s presence throughout the pageant.

But all told, well, I’m glad it’s over. So now the list stands at :

• Diamond Jubilee
• Euro 2012
• Olympics
