Nice to see that someone else feels roughly the same way about the Festering Season as I do…
In this case,
a ‘disgruntled employee’ of Harrods disabled the correct lights until he could spell out his feelings to Harrods bosses and Christmas shoppers alike. He was removed by security guards after an hour-long stand-off, then handed over to police.

I don’t wish to add to your unease, but your Festering Season (more properly known as the FOTCR™) countdown in the sidebar is wrong – sadly it doesn’t end until Tuesday 4th this year – with 1st being a Saturday, the Monday is 3rd and a substitute BH. Sorry 😉
Ah, but it’ll all still be over and done with on Jan 2. Bank Holidays aren’t relevant in this case. 🙂
