Another Cat

No, we haven’t got another cat – but it does look like another one has been added to the neighbourhood’s collection of cats.

The evidence? This, outside the back door today…

Psycho Cat vs. Ginger Bastard

That’s Psycho Cat facing off the new addition, having already kicked him out of the cat flap.

The noise that was being made was unholy – and mainly from Psycho Cat – and the altercation ended up with Psycho Cat chasing Ginger Bastard off and up the nearest fence.

I suspect it won’t be the last time this happens, there’ll be more time for more catfights before the proper pack structure (or whatever cats use in place of a pack, I dunno) is established.

The collective terms for a “group” of cats varies, but the most common ones are clowder, clutter, glaring, and pounce.

“A pounce of cats”. Yeah, pounce is definitely my favourite.
