Locational Errors

(And in this case, the answer is pretty much “fuck all”) I’ve also looked at the locations for other supermarket-type places, and will obviously wander around the area a bit too, see what’s around that isn’t easily web-findable.
Anyway, while looking at the map on the Tesco site, I noticed this…
Yep, there’s notation for “Waterloo Strain Station”…
NOTE : You can find the same thing by typing “SE1” into the store locator.
Central london doesn’t really do supermarkets… M&S food halls are probably about as close as you’re going to get. Although there’s a rather nice Waitrose if you’re willing to head slightly east into E1 territory.
Very true.
I’m just trying to research where I’m going to be for the next month, and figuring out what’s local where I can sort out food without spending spudloads of money…
There’s a Sainsbury’s in Holborn and at Waterloo… must be loads of others too. Why feed Mr T£$co’s evil empire?
I didn’t say I was going to use Tesco – this was just that the Tesco map had something on it that amused me.
And as it is, there’s a Sainsbury’s close(ish) to where I’ll be working/staying, so I’ll probably use that.
