Summer Time

Ah, the start of spring – the clocks went forward this morning, and that should be A Good Thing™.

The minor downside of Daylight Saving Time is that in theory I should change the way the time is displayed here on D4D™. Only I can never be arsed – so the entire site runs in GMT, regardless of whether it’s GMT or BST that we’re on.

Primarily this is because WordPress goes a bit odd when it comes to changing times – it becomes a global change, and all the time-stamps on the earlier posts get changed too. So I can’t be bothered to faff that much, and thus the decision was made to simply stick with GMT.

It’s not too much of a hassle, though – I just have to remember we’re in Summer Time when it comes to knowing when I want a future-post to go live.

Anyway, stop reading this rubbish, go out and enjoy the sun instead.
