I’ve heard this in more staffrooms than I’ve managed to finish hot cups of tea during break.
Fair enough. It was new to me, anyway.
I’ve heard the “It’s better to be thought an idiot than to open one’s mouth and reveal all doubt” countless times (it’s even one of the D4D™ page titles, I think) but I liked this one more.
