Re-reading

As I said yesterday, now that the hallway has been re-decorated it’s meant that a lot of my books are (finally) out of the garage, and back in the house. Some of them have been boxed up since the end of November, when we moved up to Norfolk.

Now that they’re back on the shelves, it’s been like having old friends back in the house. Admittedly, some of them are probably friends no-one else would bother with, but that’s life.

Still, just this week I’ve been able to go back and re-read Poppy Z Brite’s “Liquor” and “Prime”, and Richard Morgan’s “Altered Carbon”. There’s a whole bundle of others to go back through as well, but it’s just good to have all these books back out on the shelves, and in the place where they should be.
