More bloggage?

But the main debate around it is whether I want to be doing writing for three sites – what with D4D™ and the one on the photography portfolio, do I really need anything else?
The point is even more relevant when I look at the “writing” section of the plans for the next 12 months, where I also want to be doing some more ‘proper’ writing and well, I start to wonder what I can add to the business site with a blog anyway.
I can see the use of the blog on the photography site, after all – although I need to get down to adding in some more posts, and generally get to using it more (as well as sorting out the template so that it fits in with the rest of the site) but for the business site? I don’t know – can’t see it right now. It’s something to think about for the future, but at the moment well, not sure I can be chuffed with adding to the blog-writing workload after all.
Do not undertake it lightly if you do. My “professional” blog has led to me being invited to speak at a conference later this month but it is a lot of work. Admittedly I am trying to up my game on there, matching my peers at least, where my personal blog is still just burbling along with no real plan.
Add in the fact I write for a living too and, yeah it can be hard sometimes. I tend to write whatever I can, whenever I can, storing it appropriately for later us. But it is damn hard work getting a new blog up and running and SEEN. As I’ve been blogging for quite some time I guess I take my small audience for granted on occasion but yeah, building even that small number took time and effort.
