It’s fast becoming the first sign of the Festering Season, or at least the run-up to it.
Yes, I’ve seen the adverts for the first episode of the new X-Factor. It starts next Saturday, and (as usual) will run to a couple of weeks before Christmas. Just in time for the winner to get the “Christmas single”, in fact.
And, on a cynical note (of which I’m sure I’ll explain a lot more closer to the time) I bet the winner this year is a “group”.
I wish that programme would fuck off and die, apologies for the completely unsympathetic and misplaced use of language BUT it is utter shite!!!!!
I saw a sign today in Croydon pointing to a Charity Christmas card sale in St Michael’s Church (which, BTW, happens to be opposite Marks and Spencer)
