This morning a new web developer has joined the company, and came to the office.

Unfortunately…

1. no-one here knew he was starting
2. he doesn’t have any equipment here, because of a)
3. no-one knows what he’s supposed to be doing, or which team he’ll be working with
4. how to get this stuff sorted, as no-one’s yet turned up in the London office

Good, innit? And wow, what an introduction to a company. “Oh no, we didn’t know you were starting, we don’t have a PC for you, and we don’t know what you’re supposed to be doing. Get hold of Arsehole Boss? We’d love to, except we don’t know where he is, and his mobile’s switched off“
