Super / Massive

Instead, we went to see Superman Returns.
Man, what an utter bag of shit. Singer, that’s 145 minutes of my life I want back.
I honestly would never have been in that predicament …. bcos superman and all that kinda thing passed me by as child and certainly doesn’t interfere with my life as a so called adult, thankfully I won’t be wasting good money and valuable time on that one. Even more thankfully after your full and frank review.
I made the classic error of thinking “Hmm, that doesn’t look too bad” from seeing the trailers. Man, was I wrong.
Yipes, Singer with a ‘miss’? He’s normally bloody reliable too.. and after ditching X-Men3 for Superman (and leaving us X-Men fans with a load of tripe) he’s bodged Superman as well? Awww man!!
Sorry you missed MA as well.
I’m sure the fanboys’ll like it, but for me it had too many problems.
Slow – god, glacially, paint-dryingly slow – epic plot hole regarding Kryptonite, being horrendously similar to every other Superman movie, some epic dumbing-down and explanations, dire sentimental toss in several sections, some deeply ropy effects and CGI, and really just generally dumber than a retarded rock.
Not so much a “miss” as “not even in the same country”
