“Normality”

I can’t deny it, I’m really rather pleased that life is returning to normal again now.

No World Cup, no Wimbledon. Of course, there’s still the Tour de France, but I can live with that.

Still, it’s nice to be football free for a couple of weeks before the new season starts. Now it’s just a matter of sorting out Sky+ so that it’s got the normal programs being recorded again. Sky+ is great for that – it loses things after only one week, so if a normal schedule is disturbed by – for instance – fucking football, then everything goes tits-up. It’s a pain in the arse.

But well, we’re now getting back to normality, and that’s rather cool.
