Delayed

And the train was OK. Delayed, but not by much, because of some whacking great signal failure, and a diversion via Weybridge and all sorts.
But I got here fine. And all’s good.

5.45 am eh? Welcome to my world (I get up at 5:50 every weekday). It has to be said that it’s a lot better in the summer when it’s at least light and pretending to be daytime rather than the middle of the night. And a word of warning: don’t turn on Radio 4 before 6am. If you hear Today you can imagine that it’s a civilized hour. If you hear Farming Today, even for a second, all your illusions are shattered, and you feel knackered.
