MyBookYourBook

A while back, the BBC had a story about a new online “library” called MyBookYourBook. Herself is continually telling me I should find new ways to disperse some of my books, and this seemed like another interesting way of doing it, so I’ve signed up.

All the gubbins that came with it arrived just before we left on Holiday, so I haven’t completed it all yet – but I’ll write more when I’ve had time to use it a bit.

In the meantime, it’s certainly an interesting idea. It’s also given me a couple of ideas for the future, so I’ll have been doing some thinking about that during the week off too…

You might also want to look at Bookcrossing (http://www.bookcrossing.com) – no subscription, and the chance to see where your books end up!

Why, exactly, do you have to disperse your books?

You might also want to check out ReadItSwapIt.co.uk

It’s a FREE book exchange and it’s a lot less complicated than Mybookyourbook.

You can also put all your book crossing books up there and swap them free of charge.
