Synchronised

Last week saw the demise of the current runs of ER, Desperate Housewives, Family Law (on Hallmark), Grand Designs, and a couple of others. It just seems odd that despite a wide variance in the number of weeks each series runs, they all seem to close at the same time.
Or maybe I just need to get out more.
That’s because it’s coming into summer when people don’t watch as much TV. It’s always been this way mate, where have you been?
Just realised that our Sky+ box hasn’t been recording Grand Designs – dammit!
P.S. Hallmark channel – House – you’ll love it. Trust me.
It’s not all that weird — the big US shows tend to have 21–24 episodes a season, and some have a couple of breaks in their run, so they all end up finishing around the same time.
PS Five, tomorrow night 10pm, House. I’m going to give it another shot, despite being unimpressed with the first episode a couple of months ago.
…and then you get that hole in your lives where you have to build up another relationship with an evening of new programmes.
Is House the one with Hugh Laurie in it?
