Befuddled

At the same time, when Twunty Manager™ left at 3.30am on Sunday (well, technically Monday, but hey, who’s counting) it turns out he left the entire place unlocked. Front door, back door, “secure” door with a card-key, the lot. All open. The cleaners waltzed in on Monday morning and didn’t need to do anything. Scary.
What’s more bizarre is that Twunty Manager™ won’t even get a reprimand from the directors for it. In this office move he’s cost the company somewhere in the region of £75,000 including two new servers, and a hardware network contractor at £75per hour – for a lot of hours. And again, he’s not even had a reprimand.
If I were a director and had someone who’d cost me that much money, I’d be sacking the fucker for gross misconduct. But no, this one’s had nothing.
I suppose it’s all down to that old piece of wisdom
It’s not who you know, it’s what you know about who you know.
Or maybe I’m just cynical.
Not cynical at all… in fact very very accurate.
Could it have been a deliberate bout of forgetfulness or is Twunty Manager really that stupid?
No, believe me, he really is that stupid.
He fulfils another cliché “Managers are people who have been promoted to their level of incompetence”
