Bah, fuckin’ humbug.
I wrote about this a long time ago, although that was more in regard to Children in Need than to RND. But all the same, it’s the type of charity event I’m deeply anti.
So no, D4D™ won’t be going red today. (well, unless you use the red colour scheme) I did think about it, and it’d be an easy fix. If you want to do something for RND then great, go for it.
Oh, and bear in mind that in Spain it’s a national day of mourning to mark the anniversary of the train bombs there one year ago.
I’m in Foreign. I have to retune my television if I want to watch the heady mixture of jollity , gunk, and tearjerking documentuthing on the Colonial Broadcasting Service. Joy.

We’re running the predictable fucking swear box for The Cause today, though it does seem to have trailed off now the guy running it has gone to meetings for the rest of the day. Related to one of your previous posts about work (Demoralised), we had also added the words “Just” and “Only” to the mix (“all you need to do is just add a line of code that says blah blah and away you go”, “it only needs a tweak to the database and we’re sorted”), as well as every instance of someone selling something to somebody that we can’t actuallyu do., and don’t really want to hear has to be done by the end of the day.
Full time work is a strange beast. At least the Episode 3 trailer has added a few minutes of distraction…
