Worthwhile cause

While the anchovy essence in Worcestershire sauce mean it’s not for vegetarians, it still has a whacking 99% share of the market. Not bad going, really.
Damn straight it wasn’t Lea & Perrins. First thing I checked – what would happen to Bloody Mary break if it was!
Amusingly I’ve noticed that they’re advertising Lloyd Grossman sauces on the goggle box now, but fortunately not the sweet and sour sauce which had traces of Sudan 1 in it.
My friend descended from the Lea of Lea & Perrins. Not that she benefits financially from this. Still, she makes a nice spaghetti bolognese. 🙂
