Gymmage (again)

After nearly a month of going to the gym, I’ve come to the following conclusions :

  1. I really hate communal changing rooms. They’re the one place where I actually do feel body-conscious. Maybe in the end I won’t, but for now, yeah, totally.
  2. Whoever designed the cross-trainer missed out on a satisfying career creating torture devices for S&M people
  3. The TV screens in gyms are invariably filled with shite. Although at least we don’t have kids programmes like Adrian’s one does.
  4. My legs are far more developed and muscular than my arms/torso. Not in an unbalanced way, but it’s noticeable.
  5. Did I mention that cross-trainers are torturous?

Cross trainer – that one of those “soft” running things? I’ve got one of them at home, I love it!

And I think it’s common for people to have better defined legs as they always get exercised whether they like it or not – you know, walking and stuff.

Particularly true of those with a larger frame — I doubt it’d be physically possible to be 6’4 and possess stoneage in the upper ‘teens without having fairly well-developed leg muscles. Perhaps all you need to do is learn to walk on your hands? 😉

Very true, re. leg muscle etc. However, it’s been very easy to observe that the legs don’t need much work whereas the rest needs more. Of course, having virtually no fat on legs/arse means I’m never going to really lessen the required waist/size in trousers, which is a bit of a fucker, really.

I cant see why they can’t run the news with subtitles on one tv. Then I can listen to music and watch the news. Is that too much to ask?
