Book List
Posted: Fri 25 February, 2005 Filed under: D4D™, Geeky 3 Comments »As yet it’s not comprehensive (mainly because I’m having problems remembering some of the stuff I’ve read this year – Alzheimers is slowly kicking in) but the book list I detailed yesterday is now up and running.
I’m still going to twadge about with the idea a lot more, I’m sure – but it’s a start, and a project in progress. And yes, the database worked fine first time. God I’m sad.
Me and you have something in common here Lyle, I read as well, I know you probably find it hard to believe. Last book I read and thoroughly enjoyed was Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks. Oddly enough this book was also trumpeted by William Hague in that great book debate thingy. I would recommend this book to anyone, it illustrates mans brutality and the struggle of the common person against a system run by soap dodging, champagne quaffing fudgenudgers.
What’s a fudgenudger? *grin*
Ask Lyle, it’s him who taught me the phrase, along with wedgie and a few others. He’s an evil wedgie master, I had to lose me rag with him after I’d pulled my underpants outta me crack for the 10th time in one night. Oh the memories, lyle ur responsible for corrupting me!
