Circle line Party II

On a much lighter note, the Circle Line Party 2 was held recently in London. 600 people riding on a tube train round the circle line for two complete journeys, including disco balls, lights, DJs and dancers. And it looks like it was great fun.

April the First

Yes, yes, I’m sure that whatever the papers are doing for April Fool’s Day is very very funny indeed. I’m impressed. No really, I am.

However, I do find myself hoping that this story about Coalition forces being seen as villains in the Middle East “but that’ll change”, says David Blunkett is a huge pisstake. What did they expect? For all the Iraqis to simply turn round and go “Oh yes, thanks for invading our country, killing our (civilian) citizens as well as the soldiers, and for wanting to kill our leader. Would you like a nice cup of tea? Thanks so much for bombing the shit out of that city – it was a real eyesore, don’t you know.“???

Bush and Blair, you can admit it now, this war is just one very large unfunny (and fairly lethal) joke. The problem is, the only people looking like fools are yourselves.
